ACTA NDIS List Submission Final

On 27 March 2024, the Australian Government introduced into Parliament changes to the NDIS Act 2013 (NDIS Act). These changes are proposed under a Bill called the ‘National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Getting the NDIS Back on Track No 1) Bill 2024’. The changes in the Bill provide a framework for improvements to the NDIS.

If the changes become the law, there will be a new definition of NDIS support to help participants and providers to understand what NDIS funding can be used for. This will enable more flexible planning and new budget setting arrangements as recommended by the NDIS Review.
