Prue Dimitry is the Deputy Chair of the Australian Community Transport Association (ACTA) and a senior leader at Community Accessability, where she manages aged care, transport, and disability services across regional Victoria and southern New South Wales. Appointed to the ACTA Board in March 2023, she represents Victoria with a focus on sector advocacy and promoting client-centred approaches to community transport.
Her career has been dedicated to strengthening independence, social connection, and equitable access for older people, people with disability, and those experiencing disadvantage. At Community Accessability, Prue leads services supporting thousands of clients each month through transport, home supports, and social programs. She has driven initiatives to improve service efficiency, expand capacity, and embed customer-centred models that ensure services respond to the needs of individuals and communities.
Within ACTA, Prue advocates for policies and reforms that recognise community transport as an essential service. She is particularly passionate about transport as a critical enabler of wellbeing and inclusion, ensuring people across metropolitan and regional areas have reliable access to services, supports, and opportunities to remain active and connected.
